I live in Az. have relative on the
honor yard at Lancaster. I am furious over the over-zealous efforts of the CO's
to do away with this program! And now putting this innocent man in segregation
is a violation of his rights isn't it?? Can't someone do something legally to
assist him and the others who are working the program? The CO's are sending Ad-Seg
prisoners to this yard from other facilities which only serves to create more
chaos which is what they want- and makes the programmers on the yard look bad.
This is so unfair. So very bias and so very obviously driven by the California
Dept. of Corrections. Many of the men on this yard are no longer young men
either; and if sent somewhere else, could easily be killed! We are outraged at
the action taken at Lancaster, and wish to acknowledge our support of the honor
yard program.
Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. EK

I fully support the honor program at
A-yard, CSPLAC. I have a son that is in this program and it has greatly
benefited his outlook for his future in the prison system.
He has been able to give back to society thru his art
work, raising money for charities. This has given him the self-esteem he may not
have had, otherwise.
I had been told that Mr. Hartman was in "the hole" due
to this website and other things that he has done, to try to get the honor
program the recognition it deserves. He has only tried to get the word out that
this program not only helps the inmates, but also helps society in many
different ways. Why they are punishing him for doing this, is beyond my
comprehension.
I appreciate all he has done in the past and will do in
the future, to get the state to see that this is a positive program and deserves
recognition by the state, as something good for all.
I hope that this website will remain up and running so the
public will have the chance to check it
out and see what this is all about.
I, for one, support it in every way.
Thank you.JY
